COURSE AIM / OBJECTIVE:
  • The STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR) course teaches knowledge of and compliance with safe working practices at a basic level. At the end of the lesson, candidates will be able to demonstrate following:

TEACHING METHOD:
  • Instructions will be undertaken through a series of lectures, tutorials and practical session. Practical sessions will be carried out physically at the live station.
 
ENTRY REQUIREMENT / TARGET GROUP: COURSE CERTIFICATE:
  • The course is mandatory for all to join ship.
 
TARGET GROUP: COURSE CERTIFICATE:
  • A certificate of course completion shall be issued to those who shall satisfactorily fulfill the course requirements.
  • Certificate of Proficiency is issued by the Department of Shipping, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
